Updated 5 Aug 2026 — THE STAND ×3 CONTRACTUALLY ACCEPTED · contracting entity locked to SCJ Entertainment Ltd · Komedia on-sale form returned after 5 days · Tiverton terms in (311 seats, not 300) + a monthly club-night series opened · nine emails out, all verified single.
Every UK tour agreement is now made to SCJ Entertainment Ltd, 37 Bury Crescent, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 3TZ, co. 06734322. JR signs on Sean's behalf, admin-wise, and will send Sean an email setting out all terms.
⚠️ Use this exact wording on every agreement — Albert's correction, because "arranged by John Robson" states a role, not legal authority:
"This acceptance is given for and on behalf of SCJ Entertainment Ltd by John Robson of Big Laugh Boutique, its duly authorised agent."
Why it matters: BLB Ltd dissolved Feb 2026, so "Big Laugh Boutique" and "John Robson" are the same legal person with no corporate veil. Naming SCJ keeps the ticket contract, VAT, refunds and the 48-hour cancellation liability inside a company.
Edinburgh Thu 4 Feb · Glasgow Sat 6 Feb mat · Newcastle Sun 7 Feb mat. Roughly a third of the run, now contractually agreed.
Albert reviewed it first (AL-008): market-standard, safe to agree, Low–Medium, no external counsel.
⚠️ The real venue take is 33%, not 30% — the 3% commission and 30% facility fee stack, and their invoice likely adds VAT on top, which SCJ cannot reclaim. Possibly 39.6% all-in, worth ~£625 across the three. Query sent, awaiting Tammie.
⚠️ Their show confirmation has no signature block — it is accepted by email, so the acceptance email is the execution.
⚠️ Edinburgh is NOT accessible, and as promoter of record it is our duty to state that on our own ticket page. Their wording requested per room.
Sat unanswered five days. Now back in full: entity, £20/£16, allocations none, PRS applicable (Sean walks on to music — not claiming exemption), 120 words of web copy, artwork specs requested.
⚠️ On-sale date deliberately left open — it governs the whole run.
⚠️ Correspondent is Sam Moore, not Will Robinson.
Steve Lodge: 70/30 ours, £18 ticket, contract offered same day and accepted.
311 seats, not the ~300 on file — plus a 200-seat black box we did not know existed. At £18 × 70% = £3,918 at capacity, ~£2,350 at 60%.
⭐ The bigger prize: monthly "top end" club nights through 2027, last Sunday of the month, across both rooms — up to £5k a night for a headliner he knows will sell. We have asked whether he wants us to source the whole bill, including headliners from outside our roster. A recurring booking relationship for the roster, not a Sean date.
Their ticketing form has been outstanding since 28 July — longer than Komedia's. It asks for a running time, and their slot is a fixed 6:45–7:45 box. Asked Tom whether a straight 60 with no interval works, and whether they supply a house support. Form goes back the moment he answers.
One document exists for the entire twelve-date run — The Stand's show confirmation.
🛑 Trinity IoW: the hiring forms were sent 31 July and have never been opened or returned. Sat 23 Jan is a LOCKED date with no paperwork in hand. First thing to move.
⏳ Inbound: Tiverton contract · The Stand agreement.
❌ Nothing at all: Totnes · Cardiff WMC · Top Secret · Southampton Attic · Glee.
£20 full / £16 concession across every room including all three Stand dates. London £25/£20. Tiverton is Steve's own £18.
On sale: within a fortnight, every date announced together through Sean's socials. One date governs the whole run — not named to any venue yet. The Stand invited to state a preference, being the biggest rooms; everyone else routes around them.
Komedia · Tiverton · Creatures · Glee (chased) · Neptune Halifax (chased, both addresses) · GRUB (declined warmly, kept live for next run) · Vulcan County · Solé Farr · The Stand.
Vulcan and Solé both played as route-builders — no fee quoted to either. Vulcan offered 16 Oct 2027 at CAD ,500; Alberta is west and October is a separate trip from the spring run.
Top Secret, Sun 28 Feb. JR spoke to Mark, the owner, direct. The flagship closer is held and the South-East cluster is pinned.
Fri 26 Feb, Studio, to Will. It was the only Friday in the closing weekend he offered (Feb Studio avails 10/11/12/14/17/18/26) so the date picked itself. 70/30 already agreed — no money reopened. Awaiting reply.
Dinah Bowman (twiga321@gmail.com) sent the hiring forms and asked that we reply direct to her, not the CAODS secretary line. Acknowledged 31 Jul — full confirmation next week.
Isabelle gave the caps: snug 45, basement 85. We had ~150 on file. A third under tier — this is now fact, not a judgement call.
Greg Maguire, tech@grubmcr.com: "we'd love to host Sean's show." Offered Fri 22 Jan / 5 Feb / 12 Feb + a hold on 29 Jan. All four collide — 22 Jan is Sean's own Attic, 5 Feb Scotland, 12 Feb Tiverton, 29 Jan Creatures. ⚠️ They have stated neither capacity nor terms. Two questions drafted to Greg, not sent. Creatures is not definitively the better room until those come back — their 6:45–7:45 slot is the early one, the venue's own showcase runs later.
The 2024 show in that exact room, promoted by the same person, did 97 online + ~20 on the door in a 120 room — it sold out. Sat 13 Feb is far safer than we had it. ⚠️ Standing lesson: door sales never appear in a ticketing export, so any platform figure is a floor, not the gate.
1,420 fans merged off Wix (Sean 340 · Steve 634 · Craig 257). JR's rule: joining any act list auto-joins BLB — so Sean can be introduced to 888 people who've never heard from him, and his identifiable UK reach for the on-sale goes 38 → 259. Master + segments in AGENTS/Maggie/state/contacts/.
Read before any outbound. These never appear on the client hub or in anything Sean sees.
Sean is not yet aware of the wider V360HQ team. Everything to Sean reads as JR personally. No agent names, no "we've got someone on it", no system language. Client hub is authored in JR's first-person voice.
Heart attack Feb 2025, fully recovered and working — never referenced publicly. Directly informs UK tour density: show-count + how tight the routing runs is Sean's call. JR having the stamina/preferences chat before we lock density.
The promoter behind the 2024 Canada underpay (−50%) and the Kill Tony UK visa fallout is on do-not-engage. JR to confirm the name for the formal list. Do not route any Canada/UK date through them.
Sean is banned from Hot Water (Liverpool + Manchester rooms) — do not approach. Frog & Bucket / Fairfield are the Manchester alternatives.
Naming lock: Good To Be Here = the live TOUR · Hometown = the already-recorded SPECIAL released ONLINE · "homecoming" does not exist — never use it. All first venue contact is JR's (Rule #1).
Good To Be Here · late Jan → Feb 2027. Shape is done — Solent · North-Midlands · Scotland · West Country · the February finale. LST is OUT (pulled — hire risk); London = Top Secret, JR direct. Only open slot is Sat 27 Feb. Full detail → tour calendar.
Fri 12 Feb · TCAT · 311 seats + a 200-seat black box. 70/30 ours, £18, contract requested. Plus a monthly club-night series through 2027 — up to £5k a night — now in conversation.
Autumn 26 run confirmed (4 shows, self-booked). JR's stated priority is now spring 2027 — 400-seat East run, Halifax-anchored. 🛑 Gated: ask Sean who books him in Canada before any approach.
Halifax cut Sean-approved. Legal/commercial passes run on all 5; Uncut vs Commercial editions. V360 Audio rights vehicle drafted, ball with JR.
Recorded, awaiting JR music/credits change → online sale (Cooper+Reed) + reels + audio + SiriusXM.
Late Jan → Feb 2027 · UK. ⚠️ This section was three weeks stale — rewritten 29 Jul. The old plan ("LST is the routing gate", Ireland closing the run) is dead. Current shape: five clusters — Solent (Fri 22 / Sat 23 Jan) · North-Midlands (Thu 28 – Sat 30 Jan) · Scotland + Newcastle (Thu 4 – Sun 7 Feb) · West Country (Thu 11 – Sun 14 Feb) · the February finale (Fri 26 – Sun 28). LST pulled (~£2k hire risk, and Sean has his own Southampton show that weekend) → London is now Top Secret, Kingsway, JR chasing the owner direct. Ireland parked as Sean's own later leg via his own promoter. Density still Sean's call; JR has stated 8–12 and we're at 13 — so the live question is what comes out. Live working view → sean-tour-calendar.pages.dev (gated hometown).
Six confirmation mails went out in JR's name on 28 Jul (Sent 4151–4156, each verified single). Five have now replied (Trinity + Leeds landed since): ✅ Creatures (accepted + settled) · ✅ The Stand ×3 (all confirmed — with a contract, see the card) · 🔻 Leeds HPBC (replied, doesn't work — recommend dropping). Still silent: Glee Bham · Trinity/CAODS · Neptune Halifax — chase from Fri 31 Jul.
✅ Identified by JR: it's Tiverton TOWN HALL — council-run, St Andrew Street EX16 6PA, 01884 253404, tivertontowncouncil.gov.uk. (My first read was Comedy Hall — wrong, retired. Comedy Hall stays on file as a separate live promoter lead in the same town.) Council quotes up to ~200 across two rooms, the Town Hall and the New Hall — some listings show 60 for meeting layouts, so confirm which room, seated, for comedy. ~200 is inside the 120–200 tier.
📅 Ask FRI 12 FEB · fallback THU 11 · never offer Sat 13 (Bristol's, and it would backtrack). 🛑 The question that decides the date: straight council hall hire, or is somebody programming comedy there? A bare hire = we carry the risk and all the marketing in a town with no list — the weakest model. They approached us, so someone is probably programming it. Find out who.
JR: "make the posters a bit different for the UK… park the artwork for venues until we have more assets and more venue requirements, then do a bulk of venues at once." Agreed — and the stronger reason isn't efficiency, it's coherence: build The Stand's now and it becomes the UK look by accident, with everything after it either copying or drifting. Built once, across the run, it's a decision.
blb-show-database.md — one row per venue, every spec captured the moment it's stated, so nothing gets chased when we build.Tammie: "these are all in on our side, too." Edinburgh Thu 4 · Glasgow Sat 6 mat · Newcastle Sun 7 mat — all three confirmed, show-confirm doc attached and saved.
Sean's Ltd is the contracting party. Named Third Party at The Stand = promoter of record = signatory = payee. Settlements go direct to Sean's company. BLB stays clear of it — no ticket contract, no VAT, no cancellation liability — and invoices Sean for the work, with full transparency to him throughout. If Sean registers for VAT, that's his and his accountant's to handle. JR will likely ask Sean for an advance on the whole tour once the dates are locked in.
£15 / £20 / £25 confirmed by JR. 20% external allocation DECLINED — not worth the extra accounting. So Skiddle sells all 100: one settlement, one party, nothing to reconcile. Knock-on to hold in mind: no buyer data comes off this show, and the tour ticket hub becomes a signpost to Skiddle rather than a seller. Next: fill their ticketing form → forms.gle/rEx3RppYjTq9hjsi7 → on sale.
JR flag (2026-07-06): first fortnight of January is dead for live — audiences are "Xmas'd out" (skint post-Christmas, dry-Jan, cocooning); venues quiet by nature. So weight the run to the BACK HALF of Jan → early Feb when demand recovers (Stand avails run to 6–7 Feb — use that Feb tail). Don't be fooled by the Stand's heavy early-Jan availability (2–3, 9–10) — that's soft-demand supply. Implication for Trinity: late-Jan dates (23/30) are now commercially good dates, not a problem — see revised date read below.
42–44 Oldham St, Northern Quarter (basement under Wilson's Social) · ~100 seated (corrected 28 Jul — we had 110 and 150–200 on file, both wrong) · Tom Stanimeros, Creative Operations · Info@creaturescomedy.com · 07733 146 380. Manchester's only dedicated comedy room, 15+ gigs a week.
My read: 6:45 is early, but it's a fixed hour in the right room with nothing at risk. An early-doors hour at £15–20 in a full 100-seater is a far better first Manchester night than an 8:30 room we'd have to pay for. JR's own rule decides it — a full 120 beats a half-empty 250.
⭐ The 20% allocation is the real decision here — the only part that needs a call rather than a yes. Taking it means ~20 tickets sold through Sean's site and socials, so we keep those buyer details instead of Skiddle keeping all 100. That's the first live test of the ticket hub, and the start of a UK list we'll want when Canada goes on sale. Recommendation: take it.
The Grove, Cowes, IoW PO31 7QR · 199 seats · run by CAODS · 01983 295 229 · caods.org.uk. Terms: 70/30 in Sean's favour.
| Date / leg | Venue & contact | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fri 22 Jan Solent | The Attic, Southampton | SEAN'S OWN | Sean's own "Good To Be Here" date (theatticsouthampton.co.uk, £15). Not ours to sell — we route the weekend around it. |
| Sat 23 Jan Solent | Trinity Theatre, IoW · CAODS · 01983 295 229 | ✅ LOCKED | 199 · 70/30 our favour. JR locked 28 Jul. Ferry from Southampton. Awaiting hire paperwork; Reed owes the marketing costing. |
North | Hyde Park Book Club, Leeds · Isabelle · contact@hydeparkbookclub.co.uk | 🔻 DROPPED | ❌ DEAD — caps confirmed 31 Jul: snug 45, basement 85 (we held ~150 on file; a third under tier). Original three problems: (1) Thu 28 isn't available; she offered nothing later than Sat 17 Jan (2/3/4/10-pencilled/12/13/14/17). (2) Five of eight are in the dead first fortnight; only Thu 14 is arguable. (3) The room is 45 — she proposes going on sale in the "snug" (45-cap) and upgrading to the basement only if it sells fast; basement cap unstated, and our ~150 figure is now unverified. ⚠️ "Venue pack attached" — nothing was attached (verified via MCP, raw IMAP and BODYSTRUCTURE). No terms offered at all. 📉 Kills the three-night northern run → Fri 29 + Sat 30 two-nighter. Rec: drop warmly, come back next tour. |
| Fri 29 Jan North | Creatures Comedy Club, Manchester · Tom Stanimeros · Info@creaturescomedy.com | ✅ ACCEPTED | ~100 · split, no hire · 6:45–7:45pm fixed · price CONFIRMED £15/£20/£25 · Skiddle sells all 100 (20% allocation declined — accounting) · ticketing form to fill. See card above. |
| Sat 30 Jan Midlands | Glee Studio, Birmingham · Adam Jaremko · adam@glee.co.uk | 1st pencil | Studio room; Sean sold 85 there in 2023. Pencil + paperwork requested 28 Jul. ⚠️ Glee = Birmingham only (declined Cardiff). |
| Thu 4 · Sat 6 · Sun 7 Feb Scotland + Newcastle | The Stand ×3 · Tammie Beattie (cc Eva@thestand.co.uk) — not Keir | ✅ ALL 3 CONFIRMED | 🆕 29 Jul: "these are all in on our side, too" + show-confirm doc attached. Edinburgh Thu 4 (8pm, 140) · Glasgow Sat 6 matinee (220/270) · Newcastle Sun 7 matinee (280). Deal: 70/30 net + 3% commission — but read it properly: 3% on GROSS via their box office AND a 30% venue charge on ALL net sales including other ticket agencies, so selling elsewhere does not dodge the 30%. VAT is ours to declare (they act as host venue + disclosed ticket agent) → Clara/Albert. We must nominate a "third party" name — that is who the settlement gets paid to. 🛑 Interval required for all shows → Sean's hour has to become two halves; JR↔Sean. 🛑 New Tour/Third-Party agreement + cancellation policy needs agreeing → Albert reviews first. |
| Fri 5 Feb Scotland | non-Stand Scottish room — JR sourcing | JR direct | Òran Mór / Monkey Barrel / Glee Glasgow. Needed because the Stand gives no Fridays. |
| ✅ Fri 12 Feb West Country | 🎪 TIVERTON COMMUNITY ARTS THEATRE (TCAT), ~300 tiered · promoted by COMEDY HALL — Steve Lodge, laughs@comedyhall.co.uk | ✅ LOCKED Fri 12 | ✅ Locked on WhatsApp 29 Jul — approached us that morning, closed same day. ⭐ A PROMOTER DATE, NOT A HIRE — Steve carries the room, the local push and the risk; no hire fee and no marketing spend from us. ⚠️ 300 is above the 120–200 tier and would be the second-biggest room on the tour; fill risk sits with a promoter who knows his town. ⏳ Steve is emailing details — we wait, then ask only the gaps. 🆕⭐ He also wants to discuss a MONTHLY NIGHT in the area — JR pulling Tony in if worthwhile. 📌 My first read (Comedy Hall) was right; the "Town Hall" retraction was the wrong turn. |
| ✅ Sat 13 Feb West Country | Things Happen Here, Totnes — via Tony Marrese | ✅ 120 · 70/30 | ✅ PINNED 29 Jul: venue = Things Happen Here · cap 120 · Tony promotes on 70/30. ⭐ A promoter date, not a hire — Tony carries the room and the local push, so no marketing spend from us. 120 is inside the tier and sized to look full. ⏳ Still to get: address, tech/get-in, logo, on-sale mechanics. |
| Thu 11 / Fri 12 Feb if it lands | Bristol — Comedy Box (web form) · Gaffe / Harry Allmark (#4027) | BONUS — not the plan | 🔄 Demoted 29 Jul. Was the Saturday; Totnes has it now. Bristol only comes in if it lands, taking whichever of Thu 11 / Fri 12 Tiverton doesn't — which would make the West Country a four-nighter again. Gaffe ~150, auto-ack only, silent since 16 Jul. Nothing lost: it was the least certain piece of the weekend. |
| Sun 14 Feb West Country | WMC Cardiff — Cabaret · Aled Lloyd Rees · cabaret@wmc.org.uk | Hold to send | ⭐ 150 — the anchor, cap hard-verified. WMC Sundays only, so it closes the weekend. ⚠️ Valentine's. Send board ready, not fired. |
| Mon 15 Feb (option) West Country | P Pub Comedy Club, Swansea · Ppubcomedyclub@gmail.com | Maggie owes draft | Warm — intro via JR's mate Chris, who told them to expect JR. West of Cardiff. Cold enquiry still not drafted. |
| Fri 26 Feb Finale | Komedia Brighton — Studio · Sam Moore / Will Robinson · programming@komedia.co.uk | ✅ Locked (JR to fire) | Studio ~90 · 70/30 our favour. Feb Studio avails: 10, 11, 12, 14, 17, 18, 26 — the 26th is their only Friday. JR's call: stay in the Studio, main-house chase dropped. |
| Sat 27 Feb Finale | 🔍 THE GAP — a South-East room on the Brighton→London line | Maggie to scout | The only open slot on the whole tour. 120–200 tier. First-pass candidates named but UNVERIFIED: Tunbridge Wells · Canterbury · Guildford · Portsmouth · Reading · Croydon. Needs the same verification method as the 16 Jul 150–200 re-scout. |
| Sun 28 Feb Finale | Top Secret Comedy Club, Kingsway, London — JR's own contact (owner) | JR direct | ~120–150 TBC. Replaces LST. ⭐ Sunday is the smart ask — they run their own Fri/Sat bills. ⚠️ Honest caveat: a London Sunday sells softer — trade-off accepted to close on the London flagship. |
| Ireland | Sean's own Irish promoter | PARKED | Its own later leg. ⛔ Dublin (Laughter Lounge) pencil HELD — do not send · Belfast never opened · Smock Alley declined. |
| Manchester — the relationship play | A Lovely Time Productions · hello@alovelytime.co.uk · John Stansfield + Chris Cantrill | PARKED (JR) | ⭐ Manchester's real door is a promoter, not a venue. Programme Fairfield + Cultplex, place acts into The Lowry, take shows to Edinburgh Pleasance. Built-in ladder: Fairfield £16 → Lowry £24.50. JR: approach only if Sean sells fast at Creatures — going in with a sales number beats a cold hello. |
| ❌ Out | Leicester Square Theatre · Frog & Bucket · Smock Alley · Liverpool corridor · Hot Water | Closed | LST pulled (~£2k hire risk; withdrawal emailed to Jo). Frog & Bucket declined 16 Jul (Aimee Perry — but sent a 12-venue Manchester list). Smock Alley declined. Liverpool corridor dropped with Ireland. 🚫 Hot Water = Sean banned — and they're the dominant NW promoter, which is exactly why Manchester is structurally hard for us. |
Routing law (JR, locked 16 Jul): West Country = Cardiff · Bristol · Devon as ONE weekend — Bristol never mixes with Manchester/Leeds · North England runs with Scotland + Newcastle · Birmingham is flex · Ireland closes as its own leg. Room size: regional 120–200, London ~400 flagship only — fullness, not capacity: rather a full 120 than a half-empty 250. Confirmation-stage rules: 🚫 never ask a venue about a deposit ("send whatever you need and I'll turn it round") · 🚫 never name another territory's tour · always offer artwork in any size + the ticket hub via Sean's own site/socials, unprompted. Files: state/contacts/blb-venue-database.md (rooms) · state/contacts/blb-show-database.md (the dates).
29 Sep → 2 Oct 2026. Sean self-booked direct (4 emails 3–5 Jul to jr@biglaughboutique.com). Wafik Nasralla support. Delhi/Capitol 33 dropped for a 2nd Ottawa night. Our value-add = poster + paperwork + ticket-link chasing.

Yuk Yuk's Toronto Oct 1 performance agreement (blank PDF, email 28854). Update: Sean's happy with it — long-standing relationship — JR getting it signed & returned. JR flagged "not perfect to me but he's happy." Albert review stood down per JR. CEO sole signer holds.
Chase Toronto on-sale link as it comes online. Ottawa ×2 + Sudbury live/banked.
Recorded + complete; JR changing intro/outro music + credits (music source/clearance via Solomon+Albert). Then: online sale page (Cooper build + Reed commerce) behind the music change → reels (LaughCut) → audio product → SiriusXM pitch (Maggie+Melissa, gated on lock).
Film shows → post consistently → productise catalogue. Socials: FB 920K · IG 150K · TikTok 81.8K/1.6M · YouTube (~1.15M total, live-verified). Sean set up in LaughCut pipeline.
Corporate £6–10k (NHBC active). Brand/sponsor inbound = Maggie triages → Reed prices → Aria/Melissa brand+repu → Clara contract → CEO. Verbal verification before any money talk.
JR has the contact. Pitch Hometown once music/credits locked. Steve/Craig legacy = secondary pitch.
Groundwork only — no approaches made. Sean's US home = the club circuit (150–400-seat clubs; the "club week" = one headliner Thu–Sun, 5–8 shows in a room). Theatres (400+) come later on proof. We go in via one credible agent, warm door preferred; the real gate is the O-1/P work visa (Albert+Clara), not the agent. Time it to ride the Canada spring run + SiriusXM. Full docket: session-files/2026-07-21-sean-collins-us-touring-agent-room-map-v1.html.
| Route | Who | Fit |
|---|---|---|
| UK-bridge warmest | Avalon · Off The Kerb · Mick Perrin Worldwide | UK agency w/ US arm — gets Sean's profile, covers both territories in one hire |
| Canadian warm | Yuk Yuk's booking · Just For Laughs · his Canadian agent | Already plays Yuk Yuk's; JFL = US booker gateway; hands him across the border |
| Indie promoters | Outback Presents · Mills · AEG / Live Nation | Package routed multi-market runs (clubs→theatres) |
| Touring/club agents | Summit Comedy (Rich Miller) · Levity Ent. Group | Mid-tier headliners into the club circuit — Sean's tier |
| Club-direct | Zanies · Comedy Works · Helium · Cap City bookers | Strong-online act can go direct for a weekend — first toe in |
| Big four later/if | WME · CAA · UTA · Gersh | Theatre/A-list — only if online converts; warm intro only |
30 yrs touring North America → he very likely has a US/Canadian agent, a Yuk Yuk's/US booker, or comics who'd intro. First move = ask him who reps/books him over there now. Beats any cold list.
Canadian (not a cold foreigner) · SiriusXM airplay = US radio presence · ~1.15M online = ticket power · the Canada spring run = the "extend into the northern US" springboard.
O-1/P work visa, months + cost → Albert+Clara scope before any US promise. Not the agent.
